For nearly twenty years, GAZPACHO has been the master of atmospheric art rock. *Fireworker* is no exception; it is undoubtedly one of their most accomplished albums. Conceptually, the album follows in the band's tradition, blending grand philosophical dilemmas, literary trends, and haunting personal turmoil. In a way, it is the culmination of the themes and techniques that shaped their previous albums, combining the fatalistic isolation of *Night* and *Missa Atropos*, the unfortunate narrative drama of *Tick Tock* and *Soyuz*, and the theological/scientific contemplations of *Demon* and *Molok*. Its central premise (humanity has always been controlled by an infallible, omniscient creature determined to spread at all costs) means that *Fireworker* stands as the umbrella under which all its predecessors refer.
