Hailing from the Saint-Michel district in Bordeaux, the duo Garce didn’t choose to name their album “Scolopendre” by chance. A cousin of this charming insect, often invisible to the naked eye but no less frightening, the band weaves between noise, math rock, and hardcore fury. A dirty, electric, heavy mix that doesn't shy away from soaring into completely liberating physical and psychic trance. Labyrinths of riffs and guitars where a kind of tightrope-walker's grace emerges, between experimental noise and melodies. Garce's music has proven itself in concert, where its highly communicative fever regularly electrifies an audience that keeps coming back for more. Unpretentious and uninhibited, but with a good dose of sincerity, this Scolopendre evokes, like a street journal, the life and encounters made by Malik (drums) and Henry (guitar) in the neighborhood where the band was born.
