When Gamma Ray's first album, "Heading For Tomorrow", was released in February 1990, the course was set for a golden future. After leaving Helloween, Kai Hansen founded the new band "Gamma Ray" with Ralf Scheepers, Uwe Wessel and Mathias Burchardt. And their first album was convincing: the album was particularly popular in Japan and many other successful albums were to follow. In 2015, Gamma Ray began reissuing its catalog in collaboration with earMUSIC/Verycords to celebrate Gamma Ray's 25th anniversary. The anniversary edition of "Heading For Tomorrow" contains a bonus CD with live versions, instrumentals and demos - and is now available in a Brilliant Box Edition at an attractive price.
