It was 2012 and thrash metal was doing just fine. However, four angry Italian youngsters decided it could have done much better. Game Over came out of nowhere with their debut record and immediately made a substantial contribution to the European thrash renaissance. "For Humanity" is an energetic album, as relentless and dominant as a hungry shark in seal-infested waters. From the opening track "Abyss Of A Needle" to the final "Tupa Tupa Or Die", Game Over never lets up. The album is packed with killer high-speed riffs, blazing solos, great lyrics, and drumming that hammers the earth harder than a horde of hungry fatties rushing to an all-you-can-eat buffet. Add to all that an old-school spirit and you get an album that harks back to what happened in the Bay Area in the 80s. Today, 10 years later, these 10 songs are still claiming victims.
