Fuzz, the new band from singer Ty Segall, is releasing its debut studio album. For this record, the members delved into hard drives and record collections to unearth bizarre gems. Recorded by Chris Woodhouse (Thee Oh Sees, The Intelligence), Fuzz draws its inspiration from the most esoteric heavy-metal tracks. From Sabbath to Hendrix, including the progressive British blues of The Groundhogs or guitar legend Lobby Lloyde. The mood is not lighthearted; the songs reveal a state of perpetual paranoia and disintegrating mental health, which is not surprising – it's an album by madmen.
