They are a mutant strain of post-hardcore, arena-punk capable of reworking the strange and beautiful into something cohesive, and stamping it with their totally addictive signature sound. FUCKED UP started as many bands do, making the rounds of DIY punk in Toronto, before making a name for themselves in the US, with "Zanzibar," their 9th LP released last year.
