"The Soleil", the new brilliant work by Fred Poulet Born in 1961 in Dijon, Fred Poulet is a French author/composer/performer and director. Pierre Barouh met him in 1992 and invited him to join Saravah, a label that launched Jacques Higelin and Brigitte Fontaine. He built a reputation thanks to the music/sport "hit" "Walking Indurain" (1996). Since 2001, he has been splitting his time between recording personal albums, directing clips for himself or other artists (Piers Faccini, Las Ondas Marteles, Franck Monet), and writing for other performers such as Seb Martel, Jeanne Balibar, Rodolphe Burger. The Soleil, his new album, resets the clocks to the disturbed times of rock'n'roll. In short, it is a brilliant and ultra-competitive work in an unknown discipline ("Pornoricain").
