Now a trio, Foals began making their seventh studio album, 'Life Is Yours', during the oppressive winter of 2020, and it was natural for the writing to turn towards escapism, carried by driving energy and sunny melodies. Like an album exploring rebirth, Foals approached the recording process in a completely new way with different producer, mixer, and studio setups for each track, creating a creative harmony from a multitude of collaborative voices, including, among others, producers John Hill (Portugal The Man, Florence + The Machine, M.I.A.) and Miles James (Little Simz, Plan B), and ten-time Grammy Award-winning mixer Manny Marroquin (Rihanna, Kanye West, Ed Sheeran).
