Description

Before a European tour of 58 dates in the first half of 2022, IIUII ("It Isn't Until It Is") is a unique version of the "best of" format, an acoustic album re-recording and reimagining twelve key tracks from Fink's first ten years. IIUII is a retrospective, but it also concerns the present. Re-recording these songs with the maturity that Fink has reached is about seeing the past through the lessons it has taught, and not just repeating it. It was an opportunity to revisit all the records, disregarding the usual constraints - and to give each song the treatment it deserves. And here is Fink - having taken the road less traveled and proven that it works - It Isn't Until It Is!
