Lost concertos for Anna Maria

Le "Anna Maria Partbook" is an elegantly bound red leather volume containing the violin parts of 31 violin concertos, including 26 by Antonio Vivaldi. It is the personal repertoire of Vivaldi's most gifted student, the famous "Anna Maria della Pietà," who also played the viola d'amore, mandolin, theorbo, and harpsichord. Six of these concertos have never been performed because they were incomplete. Federico Maria Sardelli has carried out a reconstruction using many authentic sources: this work allows us to enjoy 6 new concertos by Vivaldi (3 violin concertos and 3 violin and organ concertos) performed by violinist Federico Guglielmo, organist Roberto Lorregian, and the ensemble Modo Antiquo under the direction of Sardelli.
