Fabulous Sheep

Description

The five boys of Fabulous Sheep are certainly not sheep themselves. The quintet delivers incandescent rock, performed by furious kids in their twenties. Their sound is a blend of punk rage and pop melodies, somewhere between the New York underground and Anglo-Saxon post-punk. United for 10 years and hailing from Béziers, the city's lonely youth and tensions directly inspired the band, whose lyrics tell the story of a headlong rush forward: their own. Having just been freed from parental authority, these 5 kids formed a friendship, a family, and have already graced the stages of some major festivals during their 200 concert dates and incendiary performances: Festival les Déferlantes, Le Printemps de Bourges (off-programme), the Garorock festival promotional tour, and Les Transmusicales de Rennes in 2017 as part of the official lineup. After releasing their self-produced EP “Kids are back” at the end of 2016, as well as several singles in 2017, the band is now releasing their eponymous debut album.
