Description

"My music is 100% organic and 0% technological," summarizes Faada to describe The Gospel Journey, which uses the mouth and body to imitate the sound of instruments. "When all your dreams seem to dissolve in a cloud of confusion, remember that it's just a passing storm," is his way of saying that there is a time for everything, for adversity as well as for success, according to a philosophy similar to that taught by gospel, a musical genre to which Faada reaffirms his attachment here. But it is also connected to the very foundations of his art since his beginnings in the famous rap duo Daara J, whose name means "the school of life" in Wolof.
