Since 2011 and their album Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, the Texans of Explosions in the Sky have only released film soundtracks, but they are now preparing to release the very wild The Wilderness. The band, formed in 1999 in Austin, indeed puts its gift for musical dynamics and sound textures to the service of this album where shoegaze, electronic experiments, noise, punk, dub, and folk coexist in harmony!
