Known for his cinematic forays into the jungle, Seb Uncles returns to Livity Sound as Eusebeia with The Wyrding Way, his second full-length release for the label. Building on the atmospheric approach of Cosmos (2022), this EP explores spacious and introspective territory, minimising percussion and giving pride of place to rich melodic lines. While there are subtle nods to sound system culture, notably the dub-influenced centrepiece "By The Light Of The Moon", the album largely unfolds in a cappella and mesmerising passages. The emotional phrasing of the title track encapsulates the EP's balance of light and darkness, drawing on personal experience and spiritual and existential reflections. Founded by Peverelist in 2011, Livity Sound has become a major figure in UK underground electronic music, rooted in the heritage of dance and sound system culture. The Wyrding Way is one of Uncles' most evocative works, distilling his profound and exploratory style into a timeless listening experience.
