Lullabies For Losers

Description

Although very talented, having recorded some wonderful albums, toured with Benny Goodman, and even gotten to sing with both the Duke Ellington and Count Basie bands, Ethel Ennis (1932-2019) is not really very well known. This is mainly because she quickly decided to stay in her hometown of Baltimore and perform mainly there. Released in 1955, Lullabies for Losers is her first album, featuring jazz legends Hank Jones and Kenny Clarke.
