Welcome to the journey through the brilliant musical objects of Erik Honoré! On "Triage", Erik Honoré's sound collages are built from the contributions of an ensemble of exceptional musicians: Sidsel Endresen, Nils Petter Molvaer, Arve Henriksen, David Toop, Eivind Aarset, Bjørn Charles Dreyer, Jan Bang, Kirke Karja, Mats Eilertsen and Anders Engen. Erik Honoré's new solo album presents itself as an intriguing exploration of sound, storytelling and emotion, intertwining advanced sampling techniques with literary inspiration and the distinct musical virtuosity of the various artists. The compositions, lyrics and soundscapes are carefully woven by Honoré, who, in addition to live sampling and other laptop-based strategies, also worked extensively with synthesizers, treatments and field recordings.
