Description

On his 12th album, Eric Johnson, considered one of the greatest electric guitar players, reveals a new facet. This unplugged album allows us to appreciate his talents as a singer and songwriter in a more immediate and intimate approach. This record, which he produced himself, contains 9 solo tracks. On the other 4 pieces, we find the famous guitarist Doyle Dykes, violinist Molly Emerman, cellist John Hagen, Tommy Taylor and Wayne Salzmann on drums, and Roscoe Beck and Chris Maresh on acoustic bass
On EJ, we discover for the first time this renowned guitarist in an entirely acoustic context. Most of the tracks were recorded live in the studio with Eric Johnson on vocals and guitar. This method ultimately gives a very realistic and organic emotion; you really feel like you are listening to the musician live in his own living room.
