Three Roads Home

Description

After a collaboration that began in 2010, a duo album released in 2013, "Together, together!" (Choc Jazzmagazine, Sélection Jazz News, Élu Citizen Jazz...), as well as a live album in Berlin as a quartet: "Special relativity" with Heinz Sauer and Johannes Fink; Daniel Erdmann and Christophe Marguet invite Henri Texier and Claude Tchamitchian for this new project. "Three roads home" continues their previous work as a duo around a program for two distinct trios (sax, double bass, and drums) and a quartet (sax, two basses, and drums), three possible paths towards a common goal that opens up an extremely wide and varied field. "Three roads home" reflects a free, melodic, harmonic, rhythmic, and collective jazz that questions the place of the musician in our world: who are we today?
