It was produced by Frankmusik (Lady Gaga, Pet Shop Boys, Ellie Goulding) and mixed by Rob Orton (Lana Del Rey, Charli XCX, Lady Gaga). Recorded between January and June 2011 in Maine, London, and Los Angeles, Vince Clarke used his vintage collection of analog synthesizers to add the finishing touch.
