Monsieur Claude A Travel With Claude Debussy Digipack Inclus un livret de 4 pages

Description

Enrico Pieranunzi is certainly the only pianist on the music scene who can claim a double lineage of jazz and classical. Alongside André Ceccarelli and Diego Imbert, he released his album "Ménage à trois" in 2016, which illustrates the coexistence of his wife (classical music) and his mistress (jazz).
After the international success of "Ménage à trois," it was therefore only natural for Enrico Pieranunzi, surrounded by these same musician accomplices, to turn to the work of Claude Debussy on the occasion of the commemoration of the centenary of the latter's passing on March 25.
For this jazz tribute, Enrico Pieranunzi's trio also wished for the participation on certain tracks of two other high-quality artists: David El Malek on saxophone and Simona Severini on vocals.
"Monsieur Claude (A Travel with Claude Debussy)" brings together eleven tracks composed mainly by Enrico Pieranunzi based on major works by Claude Debussy, such as "Valse Romantique," "Ballade," "La fille aux cheveux de lins," which become respectively "Bluemantique," "L’autre ballade," and "Cheveux."
Wonderfully illustrated by a work from the artist Emiliano Ponzi, who cultivates the mystery and romanticism of this cult composer, this album is certainly the most original jazz project dedicated to Claude Debussy.
