Description

This series of recordings is the result of a long research process around a new sonic aesthetic. It was created with the many traveling companions who accompanied me within the Aurora ensemble between 1995 and 2016. We explored the many facets of the 17th- and 18th-century repertoire, focusing mainly, but not exclusively, on the Italian repertoire. We always used exceptional original instruments or excellent copies; we were committed to recording in historic venues with particularly interesting and varied acoustics, and to sharing our love with you.
