End Of Green has re-recorded their legendary debut album 'Infinity'. Almost 30 years later, the band is returning to its flourishing roots and setting the course for the future with a new deal with Reaper Entertainment. With their Gothic Stoner sound, End Of Green carved out their own niche right from the start in 1996. The legendary debut album 'Infinity', released by Nuclear Blast, is a massive bridge between the Gothic doom walls of Type O Negative and the roaring desert air of Kyuss. Big songs, lots of reverb and plenty of punch, somewhat plaintive like a weeping marble statue in a graveyard, yet as fucked up as a drunk after a successful night at the bar. And yes, singer Michelle Darkness sounds like he's singing to us from a musty tomb. Like the Lost Boys, only with guitars. The band calls the whole thing "Depressed Subcore" – probably because they don't really know what else to call it. Metal, rock, gothic, alternative... the Swabians have it all. It even rocks like hell. There's coolness and atmosphere. It weeps. It sits between two chairs in such a way that it's a joy. 30 years later, End Of Green re-records this monument between depression and hedonism. And the result is just as spectacular and special as you can imagine. "It all started for us with 'Infinity'," explains singer Darkness. "This album is the starting point of a journey of over 30 years. This band is my life, I cannot and do not want to put it any other way. Without this band, without my boys, I would not exist. For me, it's all about the music. That's why this new recording was a very emotional experience for me. This is probably my most important album." With 'Twinfinity', End Of Green officially enters a new era. Suffering, as End Of Green shows on this spectacular new album, can be fun.
