In 2008, two of the biggest Australian musicians and producers of the time, Luke Steele (The Sleepy Jackson) and Nicholas Littlemore (Pnau), shaped a vision that seemed straight out of a parallel reality - a post-apocalyptic and psychedelic adventure known as Empire Of The Sun.
Walking On A Dream has sold nearly 1.5 million copies worldwide. Winning 8 ARIA awards (including Album of the Year, Single of the Year, and Best Group), 2 BRIT Awards (including Best International Album) among many other accolades.
To date, the band has sold 3 million copies of their albums Walking On A Dream and Ice On The Dune, and have reached Multi-Platinum status with the international hits Alive, We Are The People, and Walking On A Dream (which has just been certified platinum in the United States with 1 million copies).
