Ten years have already passed since the Emie R Roussel Trio's first album. Time has flown by at an incredible speed and has successively led us to make a stop in the more classical world of the string quartet, to unite into a unique and indivisible core, and to share our universe with inspired and inspiring musicians, met at the crossroads of our paths and influences. Our music has also traveled, taking us with it to discover the beauty and flavors of wonderful places. On the eve of a new decade, inspired by all these moments and encounters, we are embarking on a new chapter. Forged over the years, the Trio's identity is the result of this long journey. The music on this fifth album is like a conversation, sometimes calm, sometimes agitated or even fiery, testifying to our complicity and marking an important stage in our shared history.
