Rockin' 57 (Limited Edition)

Description

The year 1957 marked the consolidation of Elvis Presley's career. He made his last appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, where he sang "Peace in the Valley", ushering in a new musical direction. He bought Graceland, starred in his first film Loving You, began King Creole, and increased his concert and studio sessions. This album features all of his rock & roll tracks from 1957, with Scotty Moore (guitar), Bill Black (bass), D. J. Fontana (drums), The Jordanaires (backing vocals), and Dudley Moore (piano) on most of the tracks.
