{"product_id":"elvis-presley_from-elvis-in-nashville_2020_son_1","title":"From Elvis in Nashville","description":"\"From Elvis in Nashville\" includes 40 tracks from the sessions at RCA's studio B in June and September 1970 - presented here without the original overdubs to transport the listener as if they were in studio B - as well as rare and unreleased takes, all recently mixed by the famous sound engineer Matt Ross-Spang (John Prine, Jason Isbell). The \"marathon\" sessions that spanned five days (starting in the early evening and continuing until dawn) resulted in a wide variety of \"country\" tracks, ranging from bluegrass to honky-tonk, as well as more polished sounds, and even touches of the \"outlaw\" sound that would soon dominate the country charts. Highlights include a soulful version of Willie Nelson's \"Funny How Time Slips Away,\" the moving \"I’ve lost you,\" a powerful cover of Simon \u0026 Garfunkel's \"Bridge Over Troubled Water,\" and a new version of \"Love Letters\" that Presley had already recorded in 1966. Following the Las Vegas concerts, the King briefly returned to studio B at the end of September. However, the sessions were not as fruitful as those in June, with the wild version of \"Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On\" being one of the highlights.","brand":"Elvis Presley","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57578572677464,"sku":null,"price":20201120.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en\/products\/elvis-presley_from-elvis-in-nashville_2020_son_1","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
