But we also wanted to explore other musical traditions: there are timeless jazz ballads, French songs, American folk tunes…” In the end, with a wide range of musical sources and references, the album brings together traditional pieces and original compositions, including songs made famous by Frank Sinatra or Charles Aznavour.
