Stack The Deck - Things Done Changed

Big Crown Records is proud to present a rock-solid new 45 from El Michels Affair. It is part of a new collaboration between Big Crown and illustrator El Oms that includes a deck of cards and a series of t-shirts. The label images on this 45 are taken from some of the illustrations in the card deck. To accompany this project, El Michels has once again teamed up with Bobby Oroza for the A-side track, which plays with the collaboration's theme, titled "Stack The Deck". These two proved their chemistry in 2020 on the world-revered "Reasons". This time, El Michels delivers a heavier, more orchestrated track on which Bobby finds the perfect groove singing about the gamble of love. The B-side is a speaker-busting cover of the song "Things Done Changed" by the late, great Notorious B.I.G., taken from his album Ready To Die. El Michels Affair stays close to the tone of Easy Mo Bee's original production, but makes the track their own with their signature horns and cinematic grain.
