Six decades since his passing have in no way affected the interest that listening to Eddie Cochran holds. Eddie Cochran needed only a handful of tracks, recorded in just three years, to become the most iconic Rock'n'Roll artist. The grim reaper, who sometimes strikes the wise rather than the crook, had its way with a destiny that seemed promising and fruitful. More than a singer, Eddie Cochran was above all a guitarist and a musician. Gifted with an original style, a smooth playing technique, and excellent picking technique, he was a good instrumentalist, often hired to accompany other singers. Rather than eternally mourning the specter of a work that could not be fully realized, let us rejoice in being able to listen again to the timeless songs he left us.
