Écran Total, no AI will replace us.Écran Total is a band from a galaxy that might seem distant but is yet so close... Camille, Isabelle, and Margaux broadcast "Subliminal Pop" nourished by electronic music, world music, bass music, and French pop.Écran Total was born in November 2019, with the meeting of Camille and Margaux, between Lyon and Brussels. In January 2020, they released their first single "Rayon vert", featured on La Souterraine's "Popklore" compilation and broadcast on FIP and Nova, among others. Confined together in Brussels, they continued to release several singles. In 2020, they met Isabelle, also known as Sounds Of La Cave, an electronic music producer. In October 2021, the duo, now a trio, released their first EP "Schaerbeek Love".After a first EP 'Schaerbeek Love' released in October 2021, Écran Total releases its first album 'Mélodie-fiction' in which they further explore the 'Subliminal Pop' they invented. Across 10 tracks, they take you on a journey into a parallel universe, close to science fiction, where reality is distorted, like in dreams.The album is an intergalactic journey that speaks of love and depicts a parallel society, which subliminally distills an ironic vision of current society. This album allows them to explore new musical and thematic territories, in songs that are sometimes dark or melancholic but always carried by the same 'iridescent' lightness, between lyricism and poetry. The tracks explore the universe of Pop in different forms: electro, electro-funk, lyrical singing, R'n'B, Afro groove, bossa nova, reggaeton to tell this subliminal journey.The lyrics and visual universe refer heavily to SF (Star Wars, Blade Runner, Total Recall...) but also to the graphic universe linked to a more satirical prospective reading (fake ads from the 90s, Pierre la Police, Brazil...).“Hooked, immersed, hypnotized.
