'Heaven Up Here' is the second album by Echo & the Bunnymen. Darker than 'Crocodiles', it charted in the top 10 of the British charts after its release in 1981 and cemented the band's cult status in the United Kingdom.It notably contains the highly effective tracks "A Promise" and "Over the Wall".Its iconic cover, photographed by Brian Griffin in Wales, was awarded at the 1981 NME Awards, as was the album itself, which won the prize for best album.
