In April 2026, Eaves Wilder will release her highly anticipated debut album, *Little Miss Sunshine*. This record marks a remarkable evolution for the North London singer-songwriter, who first emerged in 2020 at the age of 16 with her self-produced debut single, "Won't You Be Happy," during lockdown. Eaves began working on *Little Miss Sunshine* after a period of reflection where she questioned whether she could do justice to the music she carried within her. Listening to the album reveals ten songs that draw inspiration from the cycles of nature to explain and celebrate the emotions that define us as human beings. "I was at rock bottom," recalls Eaves, who even laughs as she tells how she considered giving up music to enter a convent: "I just wanted to be inhuman, insensitive, impassive. Like a mountain, a tree. Or the sky. All these things have a purpose, but I didn't know what mine was. So, I had to discover it, song by song." On *Little Miss Sunshine*, the story unfolds in thrilling episodes, right from the album's opening seconds, with its introduction and first single, "Hurricane Girl": a sensational synergy of diaphanous shoegaze harmonies and raw rock guitars, inspired by documentaries about storm chasers. Throughout the sessions, Eaves drew inspiration from releases of the time. She notably cites Wolf Alice ("the only band that has found the balance I constantly seek: that combination of powerful guitars and voices that are both high-pitched and ethereal"), Mannequin Pussy ("they brought me what I missed from the Riot Grrrl era, when L7 and Babes In Toyland were touring"), and the "simply brilliant" compositions of CMAT. For two years, Eaves worked tirelessly to refine every verse, chorus, pre-chorus, and bridge of *Little Miss Sunshine* before entering the studio with the album's co-producer, Andy Savours (My Bloody Valentine, The Killers, The Horrors). On this album, every detail has its place, testifying to the unique musical vision of its creator.
