The second album by one of the UK’s leading new rock bands. After a remarkable comeback at the beginning of the year with the track ‘Lemontrees’, which heralded a true metamorphosis, English post-punk collective EAGULLS announces the release of their second album, Ullages – an anagram of EAGULLS. Produced by Matt Peeler and mixed by Craig Silvey at Nave Studio (Leeds), the 11-track album, born in a converted former church in the band’s hometown of Leeds, is quite different from its predecessor while borrowing its textured melodies, rhythm, intensity, and intoxicating fuzz, recalling the opulence of Cocteau Twins and the majestic melancholy of The Cure during their Disintegration / Pornography period.
