AN ASTRAL JOURNEY

Founded in Spring 2013 as a psychedelic side project for Romain Lejeune (Scarlet, The Blind Suns), Eagles Gift is one man’s project to give shape to his sonic experiments. Surrounded by a tribe of musicians from all walks of life, the band deploys a reverberated rock where massive and hypnotic chords mingle with pop and ethereal melodies. After a self-recorded eponymous debut album, they built a strong live reputation as a quartet in France and Europe. In 2014, they were noticed at the legendary Austin Psych Fest, and it was during this American journey that Romain embarked on an initiatory trip. Inspired by the work of Carlos Castaneda, this experience gave birth to the beginnings of a second concept album. Following a year of concerts that took him notably to Les Transmusicales de Rennes and Le Printemps de Bourges, the band will present their second opus, An Astral Journey, as a quintet on September 30th. It was produced by Brett Orisson (The Black Angels, Wall of Death).
