Description

In this drama by Garth Davis, a 5-year-old Indian boy (Dev Patel) gets on the wrong train and ends up in Calcutta, thousands of kilometers away from his family. Alone, he will be adopted by an Australian couple (Nicole Kidman, David Wenham). Twenty-five years later, armed with a few memories and Google Earth software, he decides to find his biological family. Never Give Up is an exclusive track by SIA written specifically for the film. Already streamed millions of times, the track was produced by Greg Kurstin. The film's soundtrack was composed by Hauschka (Volker Bertelmann) and Dustin O'Halloran. Volker Bertelmann is a German experimental musician whose works reflect those of Satie, Philip Glass, and Steve Reich. Dustin O'Halloran is the author of numerous soundtracks, including that of Marie-Antoinette by Sofia Coppola and the series Transparent (Amazon Studios), which earned him an Emmy Award.
