The quartet Duran Duran releases a new version of their album FUTURE PAST, featuring heavyweights such as Mark Ronson, Giorgio Moroder, Graham Coxon, and Lykke Li. "Future Past: The Complete Edition" includes the 12 tracks from the original album plus 3 bonus tracks and the band's cover of David Bowie's "Five Years," all accompanied by two art booklets.'Future Past' is the fifteenth studio album by the British band Duran Duran, released in October 2021.It is the band's first album to be released via BMG, and their first since 'Paper Gods' in 2015, six years earlier. The album, co-produced by the band alongside Mark Ronson, Giorgio Moroder, and Erol Alkan, also features appearances by Tove Lo, Ivorian Doll, the Japanese band Chai, and Mike Garson. Graham Coxon of Blur is the guitarist on the album.The iconic band celebrated its 40-year career in 2021, with 14 studio albums and 100 million albums sold worldwide.Enlisting the help of some of the most exciting names of the last 50 years, with 'Future Past' Duran Duran delivered another incredible work spanning the genres that set them apart once again. Working alongside British DJ-producer Erol Alkan and pioneering Italian composer-producer Giorgio Moroder, the band called on some of the most unexpected and inspiring names in pop, including Swedish multi-platinum hit-maker Tove Lo, "Queen Of Drill" Ivorian Doll, and Japan's CHAI on "More Joy!". Additionally, Graham Coxon of Blur co-wrote and lent his guitar to several tracks on the record, and former David Bowie pianist Mike Garson adds an exquisite sonic layer to the album 'Falling'. The record, which was recorded in studios in London and Los Angeles during the Covid lockdown, also features longtime collaborator Mark Ronson who co-wrote and played on "Wing", and was mixed by Mark "Spike" Stent.The complete double vinyl edition in red and green includes all 16 tracks, six of which were not available on the standard vinyl version.Two tracks come from the standard CD edition ("Nothing Less" and "Hammerhead"). Additionally, three other songs are included that appeared on the deluxe CD version ("Velvet Newton", "Laughing Boy", and "Invocation"). Finally, the double LP also includes an extra track, which was only available on the Japanese deluxe CD — a cover of David Bowie's "Five Years" in collaboration with Mike Garson.
