Description

Dub Invaders announces the release of 4 E.P.s and an album for 2016. The collective confirms its presence on a constantly expanding scene. Activists of the dub scene since the early 2000s, High Tone has evolved its music over the albums, always exploring new sounds, ready to break free from its own codes to create a hybrid and current sound. Created in 2009 for the release of a first album and a tour dedicated to the sound system, the DUBINVADERS entity allows the band members to reconnect with the original spirit of a culture that has always shaped, influenced, and nourished them. Of course, High Tone is no stranger to this, as their extensive discography already includes several "sound system" escapades that naturally led to the birth of this project. So they return in 2016 to deliver a roots, digital, heavy steppa, bass music, and even junglist sound on local and international SOUNDSYSTEMs (often accompanied by OBF or Dub Addict). On this first maxi, Omar Perry and Doubla J meet Aku Fen and Dj Twelve. The Dub Invaders are back, beware!
