Fine Print

Description

DBT drew from the New West Records archives to finalize a selection of unfinished tracks. The result of this collaboration is The Fine Print (A Collection of Oddities And Rarities 2003-2008), a 12-track album of rare and unreleased material. It features songs written by former and current members of the band, including Patterson Hood, Mike Cooley, and Jason Isbell. Seven of the twelve tracks come from the era of The Dirty South, a particularly creative period for DBT. The album also includes four covers, such as Tom Petty's "Rebels," originally recorded for the television series King of the Hill, and Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone," which allowed Shonna Tucker to perform her first solo lead vocal on a DBT recording.
