In the early 90s, in Bristol, a trio called Dreamscape. Almost nothing remains of them. One 7-inch, a 4-track EP, and a second 4-track EP that was never released. Band members: Rebecca Rawlings, Scott Purnell, and Jamie Gingell (the latter two members being behind the SECRET SHINE project on the Sarah label). The band's two EPs are compiled here for the first time, with a bonus demo track, the sole survivor of recording sessions for their new project which never saw the light of day. Perfect pop constructions, built on the unique rhythm of an Alesis SR16 drum machine (no drummer) which leaves ample room for guitars and vocals. An album that could very well garner today the praise it didn't receive yesterday, directly in line with the current shoegaze sound revival. For fans, there's vintage Lush; for connoisseurs, Cocteau Twins from their Treasure era; and a pinch of Pale Saints.
