Recorded at "Nodferatu's Lair," the home studio of singer Philip H. Anselmo and produced by Michael Thompson, Anselmo and Down, the successor to Down IV - Part One (2012) once again reflects the humidity of the band's native bayou.With a collective CV that includes Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, and Eyehategod, the quintet released their first album NOLA in 1995. They thus created like the soundtrack of a religious ceremony, a mystical appointment that was repeated with Down II: A Bustle In Your Hedgerow in 2002, Down III: Over the Under in 2007, and Down IV Part One in 2013, not to mention their live performances, true rituals in southern style, captured by a CD/DVD titled Diary of a Mad Band (2010).
