Since late 2013, the DON JOE RODEO COMBO has released a 45rpm single (La Nuit Je Dors / Le Rock Est Mort) and two albums (the second due out in spring 2017), and completed several mini-tours in France and Belgium. A power trio in the vein of early Dogs, DJRC, however, sings exclusively in the language of Michel Houellebecq. DJRC returns with a new, more sophisticated album, dirtier and garage-ier with plenty of fuzz, but also more pop. 11 tracks in under 40 minutes that boldly combine a love for Link Wray, the poetry of Ronsard, François Cevert, and difficult mornings (Le matin d'après, a French cover of Count Five) into an improbable yet coherent universe.
