«Hirundo» marks the return to music of Dominique DALCAN, French songwriter and performer, after 15 years of absence. His first album «Entre l'étoile & le carré» in 1992 propelled Dominique DALCAN to the forefront of the scene: he was then considered a pioneer of the new pop song made in France (Dominique A, Miossec, Katerine) by mixing, for his part, electronic and acoustic music. The album «Cannibale» then firmly established him in the landscape of French song, notably with songs like «Brian» and «Le danseur de Java» which met with immediate media and popular success. An artistic traveler, Dominique Dalcan has also ventured from style to style, caring little about being followed: eight albums in total, counting the electronic works of Snooze, and his collaborations with cinema. Following a hiatus of several years, «Hirundo» is undoubtedly his brightest album.
