Description

Organic, pure and open, the 8 tracks on "Reflets du monde lointain" (Reflections of the Distant World) are taken from the recording sessions for the album "Le monde réel" (The Real World). These 8 songs were also recorded between La Frette-sur-Seine and Brussels, with Yann Arnaud producing, a live recording, without a click, where Dominique A's unique voice navigates like a calm river or a raging sea. Dominique A called upon a string orchestra for arrangements that serve an ethereal production, conveying lyrics straight from the heart. A world painted and depicted after two years spent navigating the twists and turns of the universe live on our screens, between the flood of information and doubt, the tragedy of a planet abandoned despite nature's urgent signals, and a call for kindness… The album opens with "Le dénouement" (The Denouement), an ironic piece with string arrangements reminiscent of children's stories… But it is "Vagues et les regrets" (Waves and Regrets) that follows, Always in the style of Talk Talk and Jacques Brel's Les Marquises…
