Description
Footwork icon DJ Rashad rounds off an intense year at Hyperdub with his debut album on the label. It follows the release of two EPs, including "I Don't Give a Fuck", a track found on the album, and numerous collaborations. Double Cup, named after the sprite and codeine-based cocktail, collides traditional footwork sounds with more recent mutations of the genre. The album fully showcases Rashad's music and the strength of the Chicago scene. He grinds hip hop, R&B, acid, house, techno and jungle in a footwork turbine, shattering styles into pieces only to reassemble them into jerky polyrhythms.Aucune piste renseignée.
