Roadburn regulars will be very familiar with Dirk Serries, having performed at the festival many times in various guises. Having previously hosted him with Fear Falls Burning, Yodok III, Microphonics, Year Of No Light and Scatterwound, we were due to host him again in 2020 with Kodian Trio. Fate, however, had other ideas… But with a creative mind that never stops wandering, and a healthy thirst for experimentation, we knew that Dirk would be up for diving head first into a commissioned project for last year’s Roadburn Redux Festival.
