Smashing Pumpkins / Pisces Iscariot: A major band on the US Punk, Grunge, and Rock scene, Smashing Pumpkins would blow up the genre and become one of the cornerstones of the scene across the Channel. Released in 1994, "Pisces Iscariot" offers a series of B-Sides that quickly found its audience and was certified Platinum in its release year.
Of Monsters and Men / My Head is an Animal: An Icelandic Pop band, Of Monsters and Men captivated beyond their small island. Their Pop-infused Folk charmed and gradually established itself in the European music landscape. Dio / Dream Evil: Considered, alongside Ozzy Osbourne, Ian Gillan, and Robert Plant, as one of the greatest voices in Hard Rock, Ronnie James Dio would leave his mark on some of the genre's biggest bands such as Elf, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, and Heaven & Hell. It was in 1983 that the English singer went solo, forming Dio and releasing one of the genre's greatest classics with "Holy Diver." In 1987, "Dream Evil" was released. This album remains true to Ronnie James Dio's characteristic high standards and perfectionism.
Sum 41 / All Killer No Filler: Their second album, released in 2001, topped the charts and ultimately sold over 15 million units worldwide. True phenomena, Sum 41 embodied the new wave of American Punk Rock.
Killing Joke / Pandemonium: Formed from the still-burning ashes of Punk, the Londoners quickly established their music as a given, combining the omnipresent bass groove with electro sounds and the strident guitars of suffocating Punk. Far beyond a Post-Punk that merrily veered towards nascent New Wave, Killing Joke showed the way to future stars of the Industrial Rock scene. The band's 9th opus, "Pandemonium," was released in 1994 and marked the return of one of the most important bands on the Industrial Punk scene.
Tom Petty / Full Moon Fever: Released in 1989, it is the first solo album by an artist who began his career in the mid-70s. Various formations were masterfully led by Tom Petty, but this was a true work of self-composition. Driven by the hit "Free Falling," this opus quickly became a classic by the artist.
