The legendary concert that inspired Joe Strummer (singer of the Punk Rock band "The Clash") to write the classic "White Man in Hammersmith Palais" took place on June 5, 1977, where a plethora of Jamaican artists such as Dillinger, Leroy Smart, Delroy Wilson, and Ken Boothe were invited. This album brings together most of the tracks played that night. The artwork features the illustrations that the Punk artist Mal-One created for this concert.
