Ten years we waited for a record by Didier Lockwood under his own name! And what a record! Didier Lockwood, who needs no introduction, the inimitable violinist considered by Stéphane Grappelli as his "spiritual grandson," is joined by some of his most emblematic companions, notably those from the very beginning to form the All Start Quartet, with the swinging André Ceccarelli on drums, the bubbling pianist Romain Antonio Farao, and the solid Darryl Hall on double bass. This new project Ab Urbe Condita is a tribute to jazz and its sources of inspiration in the diversity of their expressions. A true jazz record and a project that will hit the road by the end of 2017.
