ROCK'N'ROLL SHOW is the story of an unwavering friendship between two friends with shared musical DNA who, during a memorable tour, covered the great vintage rock standards of the sixties, from PRESLEY to BERRY, including HOLLY and COCHRAN. This album, originally recorded to preserve memories of the tour concerts, was never released due to its proximity to "Sarbacane". Francis CABREL and his guitarist Denys LABLE rediscovered the CD and VHS tape of the last concert filmed at the Bataclan with a handheld camera, and decided, in tribute to Dick RIVERS, to release it remastered in audio/video, with bonus tracks including an unreleased CABREL song "Dans le Rôle du Rock", recently re-recorded. "Releasing Rock'n'Roll Show to leave a legacy": it was upon Dick RIVERS' passing that the idea became an obvious choice for Francis CABREL.
