Strangers in Paradise
Description
The brilliant Ukrainian violinist Diana Tischenko won the Long-Thibaut-Crespin competition in 2018, with the jury chaired by Renaud Capuçon. Trained in Kiev and Berlin, the young musician has been noted for her strong personality, great expressiveness, and captivating power over the audience. It is with Warner Classics that Diana Tishchenko chose to record her first album, featuring sonatas by Ravel, Enesco, Ysaÿe, and Prokofiev. The violinist literally shines there and deploys an infinite palette of colors and nuances. Her formidable complicity with the Hungarian pianist Zoltán Fejérvári makes for a particularly powerful duo, where the two performers truly merge. A great discovery! The grand winner of the prestigious Long/Thibaud competition chaired by Renaud Capuçon records her first album with Warner Classics.
